Merry Christmas

Christmas was great. We made some really good memories this year. Taylor woke up sleepy and excited to see if Santa came to her house.

She got too many gifts. . .
But had a blast opening them. . .
Once we got a gift opened, she wanted to play with it. Then we had a hard time getting her attention to come back and open her next gift. Everyone had fun playing with our new gifts all afternoon. Taylor especially. She had such a mess in the living room. Family came up after breakfast and we opened more gifts. Then came making dinner. . .
DJ was in charge or carving the turkey and that's when things went south. The electric knife (turned off) was falling off the counter and he tried to catch it. Needless to say we wound up in the ER for a few hours getting his finger stitched up, spending our Christmas money on an expensive co-pay. I have been wanting some me and DJ time and he said I got it - 2 1/2 complete hours of just me and him sitting in the ER. Not real romantic but I had fun holding his hand while he was about to pass out (no joke). Funniest part about it is Paul got injured at work and had stitches on his hand Tuesday night. Now they are twins.
All in all, ER visit included the day was perfect. We had family up, plenty of laughs and happy moments. I don't want to bore you, so here are some random pictures from the day. . .

I hope everyone else had an amazing Christmas just like we did. . . more to come later!
