Taylor's Garden

A few months ago Taylor and I found some really cute mini-garden pots at Target. I thought she would have so much fun planting the seeds and watching her own garden grow so we held on to them for a long time. We bought a tomato and strawberry plant. Her two favorite things. Then one day when she was hanging out with Grandpa he bought her a small greenhouse for a cucumber plant.

We got them all planted and moved them outside. We set up a little box to hold them all so when she had to bring them inside at night it would be easier for her. Disaster came one day when the wind was really strong. Taylor saw her box blowing around on the ground outside. She ran into her room and grabbed some shoes before we even knew what she was having a melt down for. When she got outside she stood over her plants - which were now just piles of dirt scattered across the ground. She threw her hands in the air and said "I CAN'T BEWIEVE DIS!! (I can't believe this :o)) We immediately had to go to Walmart and buy her new plants.

She is such a proud little gardener. Every morning we have to move the plants outside and she checks to make sure its warm enough for them.
And she always has to tell us she needs to go outside to watch her plants grow up. She has 2 cucumbers, 1 tomato and 2 Zenia's (a red one and a coral one)

Soon we will use the pots the Easter Bunny brought her and transfer them
