She's 3!

We've been so consumed with unpacking still that I haven't gotten around to posting about Taylor's Birthday. I have a lot to share!

We were moving on her actual birthday so everyone tried to make it a special day for her. She was so excited to help us load the U-Haul. It was so cute! Aunt Jess took Taylor out to lunch and took her to gymnastics that day. Taylor loved it. When she got to the house she was so happy. She set up her picnic table and slide in the back yard and Aunt Jess helped Taylor finish setting up her room. Taylor loved showing everyone her 'monkey heads' (more on that later).

That night everyone came to the house. Grandma brought Taylor roses (how sweet!) and a Bronco cake! Taylor kept telling us she wanted a Bronco cake after we had bought all the princess stuff she originally wanted. No one in our house is a Bronco's fan - especially her Daddy - so we weren't going to do a Bronco themed party but Grandma gave in :o)

Can you tell DJ and I had been up all day moving and unpacking? The pictures really show how exhausted we are and I should have put on a little makeup before jumping in front of a camera! (I need a tan too - badly!)

Saturday was rainy/snowy all morning! Her party was a blast! All of her little friends came and she got to wear the new leotard Aunt Jess bought her.

A song from Adele came on and she sat on this swing singing along . . . reminds me a little of Nicole Kidman in Moulin Rouge

We tried getting a picture of Taylor and all of her friends but with toddlers it didn't work as planned

The princess cupcakes were a hit! DJ and I dropped the ball a little. We ( I ) forgot the ice cream scoop, we forgot the juice boxes and no one could find matches or a lighter. It all worked out in the end.

She was so excited to get new toys - specifically Barbie and princess stuff.

After the party we had all the family out to the house to celebrate and BBQ. It wasn't great weather for a BBQ but we still had a good time.

I love that you can feel how excited Taylor is in these pictures

She is so girly! She looooves clothes and the new boots she got from Uncle Joel and Aunt Renee are her favorite!

We had another cake at home for the family (Thanks Grandma & Grandpa!)

She looks so grown up to me in this picture

She wanted Daddy to help blow out the candles. I bet she wished for a baby brother or sister - just a guess. (no one in the group was hinting for her to wish for one either ha ha ha)

Pure happiness!

And finally - this is her showing us she is now 3!
