I'm going to start a baby journal. I keep hearing everyone say they kept one during their pregnancy and hope to give it their child someday when it's older. So last night I went to Barnes & Nobel and bought a journal. Even though I think it's going to be a boy I bought a green one so it's a neutral color for a boy or a girl.
I told DJ the other night that my step mom Cheryl thinks we are going to have a boy based on her intuition. She has always had great intuition so I really hope she is right. DJ asked me what my response to that was and I told him that Cheryl knew we both wanted a boy. I had never told DJ I wanted a boy. Up until recently I didn't have a preference. But the thought of seeing DJ playing with a little boy has made the idea of having a boy grow on me. DJ looked so happy when I told him I wanted a boy too. I can't remember the last time he had a twinkle in his eye that reminded me of a child hearing they were going to go the Disney World. It was so cute.

That's a great idea. And giving it to the child when they're older is priceless. What a gift for them that will be.
