This was a very productive weekend. DJ and I are moving into my mom's house for a few months until we find a place we like, that we can afford and we are able to save some money for when the baby comes. Well in order to move back in a lot of changes had to be made. We officially don't move in until the end of this month.
There are two rooms in the top floor of her house. The bigger of the two empty was a sewing room. The smaller was a workout room. We folded up the workout equipment and moved a bunch of boxes into the crawl space in the basement. When that was over (after cleaning up the basement, hall closet and shed) we were able to relocate the sewing room from the larger of the two rooms into the smaller. It took a full two days to complete this but we are almost done. The sewing room is set up and looks great. The larger room (which will be our room) is completely empty and needs to be painted. It's currently a bright sunshine yellow (my choice in my younger days) and we will be painting it an Ivory Lace color. Very simple but very pretty. Tonight the prep work for painting begins. . .
Then bring on the packing! We will be renting a storage unit while staying at my mom's. We need to store everything in our apartment excluding my bedroom furniture. The bedroom set that currently is stored in our garage apartment will need to be moved as well as furniture, kitchen stuff and everything else. I got a head start this weekend. I'm an early riser so before everyone else was up I packed away my "pre-pregnancy" clothes. I was amazed, I complained about never having closet space but it only took me 5 boxes (about the size of a paper box from an office supply store) to load all my clothes into. I was very impressed with myself. I also got rid of some clothes I know I will never fit into after having a baby or clothes that a mom just shouldn't wear no matter where she is. I now have a closet full of empty hangers. . . and about 30 outfits I can currently wear.

Your mom mentioned you two were moving in with her when we saw her last month. I would imagine it will be some adjusting for everyone. Hope the move goes smoothly and for heaven's sake, don't lift anything heavy!
