New Years Resolutions

Christmas was wonderful. I got to spend time with the family, celebrate Taylor's first Christmas and really get to know DJ's Aunt and Uncle from California. I had a blast. I haven't enjoyed Christmas this much in a long time. We got some great things too. Taylor got lots of toys. DJ and I got gift cards for Target which will help out a ton since we now have to start buying diapers. We also got money and bath towels. DJ's grandma gave me her old bread machine since she doesn't use it and I am looking forward to making fresh homemade bread all the time. I also got a really cool gift from her that I have never seen before. The Rachel Ray Moppin Oven Mitt. This is very neat to have in your kitchen. It is a kitchen towel with two oven mitts built into two corners. This is a genius idea. In 2009 I really would like to follow through with some New Years Resolutions. But I want to get a head start on them so I actually follow through this time. I guess you could say I need to exercise more will power (maybe that should be a New Years Resolution of mine as well). But this year I would like to get back into the gym and get back in shape (celebrating 2 holiday's back to back like this has not been good for me in trying to lose the rest of the baby weight), I would like to earn more money (even if that just means spending less of my income) and get a new job. I would like to be more outgoing, positive and easy going. I would also like to bake/cook more new things. I am looking forward to this New Year as I know there will be some big events in our lives and I am looking forward to being happier all around. I hope everyone else is looking forward to the new year as much as I am. I love the idea of being able to start fresh on a new page.

If I don't happen to post anything between now and New Years I am wishing everyone a very Happy New Year!

All of your goals sound good. Glad you had a great holiday. I saw Taylor's picture w/the Santa hat -- darling!
